Here are some shots from Friday at the B&W fashion show at the VMFA. It was my first time participating in a runway show which turned out to be an exciting yet nerve wrecking experience (more exciting though) :)
Geraldine Duskin put together these great vintage designs for me to wear (I believe that’s an YSL skirt). Plus, I finally had an excuse to wear my awesome cage back dress post show, yess….
Cheers!

Currently in the FAB Gallery on the ground floor of the Fine Arts Building is the [HAND]made senior show for the crafts majors. I’m finally going to be done in one more semester. It was also an exciting evening because I got awarded two scholarships, shizaaam for real!
It’s a beautiful show, so if you’re in town, you should check it out :)

I never had a chance to make this post, but these are from back in March for D’s birthday. I made him a special dinner: buffalo steak with sauteed onions, peppers, mushrooms and garlic with organic jalepeno refried black beans and this wonderful fruity dark delicious Belgium beer, the Duchesse de Bourgogne!!!!
It was fun and tasty :)
Rachel and I at the Earth Day Bazaar selling our jewelry and matchboxes :)
(if you wanna see more of her matchboxes, go to www.rachelmirandafreeman.com)
There’s an up-close shot of one of my necklaces. The clasp is made from coconut shell and the pendant is flame-worked glass.
